The Directors of The Broadway Artists Intensive now bring you a new platform to develop your skills in Voice, Acting and Audition Technique.  TBAIStudio gives students the opportunity to train one-on-one with Broadway pros.

The Work

Vocal Technique

With a focus on proper technique, sound production and breath support, we customize vocal exercises for each student to help build, understand, and unify their different vocal registers, increase range and achieve their best singing voice. We guide you in choosing and applying this technique to appropriate repertoire in both classical and musical theatre genres.

Acting Technique

We focus on creating strong choices, rooted in truth, that allow your authentic self to live through the character. The monologue work covers various genres from contemporary to Shakespeare.

Audition Coaching

Based on the individual needs of each student, we  advise and work through audition material, including preparing monologues, scenes, and/or songs to a “performance ready” level. We work on developing audition skills, audition preparation, and building audition repertoire with age and type-appropriate material.

College Prep

We guide students and parents through the daunting college audition process, including consultations to refine a customized college list and assist in the organization of each university’s specific audition requirements. We identify, work and polish strong audition songs and monologues catered to each student’s strengths and range. We also offer headshot services, help with resumes, and film pre-screen videos.

Reviews

The guidance and training I received from Jackie and Jason helped prepare me for a very intense and stressful college audition process. Not only was going to their lessons the highlight of my week, but I know I would not be where I am today without their insight, resources, and aid.

They helped me find the perfect audition material that I loved doing!  Due to all their knowledge and support, I had a GREAT audition season. When I decided to audition for musical theatre programs, I had very little knowledge of what I would need to do to prepare. In my search to better my chances I met Jackie and Jason. They changed my mindset, enhanced my work, and prepared me so I could be confident going into the audition season and be successful coming out of it.

Taking private voice and acting lessons from Jackie and Jason has helped me succeed like no other. I wouldn't be where I am today without them. I came to them not feeling very comfortable in my body while singing and acting, after coaching with them I have never felt more comfortable or prepared for an audition in my entire life. Not only do they treat you as a student but they also treat you like family. I'm so happy I got to train with them, and I truly believe that they will be mentors to me throughout my entire life.

Jackie and Jason were truly instrumental to my success in the college audition process! They prepared me with fun, appropriate material that made me feel excited and unstoppable during my audition season. Thanks to their training I received multiple college offers and with their mentorship was able to choose the best fit for me. I would not be where I am, nor the artist I am, without their dedication to me and my growth.

Jackie and Jason are the best in what they do! I walked out of every lesson feeling more confident in my material, knowledgeable about audition techniques, and most importantly, prepared. I trusted Jackie and Jason to ensure that I was as ready as I could and should be for every opportunity, and over the course of my lessons with them, felt myself mature and grow as a performer. I truly cannot thank Jackie and Jason enough for all that they’ve taught me and the role that they have played in my growth as an artist. They’re the best!!!

I have been taking lessons from Jackie and Jason for the last year and a half  and I have grown tremendously as both an artist and a person.  Not only do I look forward to every lesson with them but I also walk away feeling inspired, productive, and a step closer to reaching my dreams.
